Kangaroo Burgers - Nothing says Australian meat like Kangaroo - does any other country eat its national animals?
Growing up & living in NZ means Australia is the easiest & probably cheapest country to visit. We were very lucky as kids that our parents would take us on international trips every year, usually to Oz. Gold Coast, Brisbane, Coffs Harbour & more all of them were awesome for kids and had a mean selection of tropical fruit & seafood to pig out on.
The Challenge: Kangaroo burgers - Because Kangaroo is delicious and it's way easier to get than a Morton Bay Bug when you live in London.
Having eaten Kangaroo steaks before but never cooking old Skippy ourselves we opted for pre-made Roo patties and stacked ourselves a proper burger from Down Under with egg & beetroot.
