Galette - Is it pie, a tart, or a type of pizza? Neither, it's a French Galette! And it's delicious.

France really is something. If you don't like France, then I think you're odd. The first time I visited I was 100% in shock at how busy, noisy, and in some areas dirty it was. However, I was in Paris and had clearly fallen for the over-romanticized Paris depicted in films & tv shows. Do not get me wrong though, Paris is as hectic (or as chilled) as any other major city I have visited, no worse & no better. The more I go to Paris the more I love it. But... there is so much more to France & no joke the more I see of France the more I love the food, the people, the scenery - everything.
The Challenge: Galette - Because Nah Leaps makes plenty of French cuisine already and somehow skipped the Galette section of all the coooking shows and recipe books she's seen.
Our French challenge should have been easy, I mean it's one of the few cuisines in the western world that is celebrated on such a scale that non-foodie people can probably name a few iconic dishes. Disney-Pixar did give us "Ratatouille" after all! The Leaps love French food and many a dish has been perfected to our tastes so choosing something new & yum - with seafood and offal off the menu - would be tough.
